- Solid Waste Alternatives Program. The Solid Waste Alternatives Program (SWAP) works to reduce the amount of solid waste generated and landfilled in Iowa. Through a competitive process, financial assistance is available for a variety of projects, including source reduction, recycling and education. Due 4:00 PM July 1.

- Iowa State Recreational Trails (SRT). Funding to establish recreational trails for the use, enjoyment and participation of the public. Due July 1.

- HAVlifeTM grants to other 501(c)3 organizations to support youth in the community in activities related to arts, music and athletics. Due last Monday in July (Recognition at HAVlife Golf Outing).

- Iowa State Recreational Trails (SRT). Funding to establish recreational trails for the use, enjoyment and participation of the public. Due July 1.

- NEA Grants for Arts Projects (GAP). GAP provides funding for public engagement with the arts and arts education, for the integration of the arts with strategies promoting the health and well-being of people and communities, and for the improvement of overall capacity and capabilities within the arts sector. Due July 10.

- Destination Iowa. Projects will attract visitors and new residents to the state and bolster the quality of life in Iowa’s rural communities. The aim is to make strategic investments that yield lasting results and create a positive ripple effect throughout the community. These projects will not only address immediate needs but also contribute to long-term sustainability and enhance the overall quality of life for residents. Pre-apps accepted on a rolling basis. - Walmart Spark Good Local Grants. Spark Good Local Grants are awarded through an open application process to eligible organizations operating locally and directly benefiting the service area of the facility from where they are requesting funding. Due July 15.

- Theisen's More For Your Community Grants. The program grants to agencies that most effectively, directly serve the basic needs of families and children, which includes food, shelter, education, safety and health. Due July 31.
