- Women's Giving Circle Grant. The Women’s Giving Circle makes grants to nonprofits to support projects or programs that help women/children the organization serves to gain self-sufficiency and/or significantly address barriers to opportunity for women/children. Due April 1.
- The Art Project Grants program provides financial incentives to nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations; schools; local, county, state and federal governmental agencies; and tribal councils to support a wide variety of arts-related activities. Projects must include artistic excellence and service to Iowans. Applicants must review the Program Guidelines prior to submitting an application. Due April 1.
- The Iowa Artist Fellowship program is administered by the Iowa Arts Council, which exists within the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). Through the program, IEDA provides support to individual artists, including visual and performing artists, filmmakers, musicians and creative writers who demonstrate exceptional creativity in the arts and a commitment to contributing to the vitality of the arts in Iowa. The program advances the artistic practices of Iowans through funding and professional development. Due April 1.
- Federal Home Loan Bank. The Competitive Affordable Housing Program encourages partnerships between our member financial institutions and local housing providers (sponsors) to secure funds for the purchase, construction or rehabilitation of affordable homeownership or rental housing units. The 2026 AHP application period will open April 1, 2026. Awards will be announced in December 2026.
- Iowa Thriving Communities. Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) and Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) introduce the second annual Iowa Thriving Communities designation to elevate best practices from communities that are going above and beyond to leverage innovative methods to attract housing opportunities for their workforce. April 3: Pre-Application Deadline - Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. June 5: Full Applications due from invited communities - Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m.
- GreenState Foundation will invest in our local communities by primarily funding high-impact programs and projects in the areas of: Financial Education & Economic Empowerment; Affordable Housing & Homeownership; Children's Health. Due April 10. Applications submitted after the deadline will be automatically moved to the next quarterly funding cycle.
- Foundation of Cornerstone Communities. Do you have a project in your community that needs funding, or maybe a great idea or initiative that will enhance the health of your community? The Foundation partners with visionary leaders in all communities served by GMHC on initiatives that align with the FCC mission of creating healthy and vibrant todays, local projects that keep our communities healthy and strong. Grant requests up to $1,000. (Delaware County only) Due April 15.
- The DRA Mission Grant program is designed for bold ideas that have the potential to create transformational change and advance People Attraction - driving population growth, retention, and tourism. Requests from $50,000 or more will be accepted. Preference given to projects that strengthen organizations through capacity building. 2026 Grants Available: Monday, April 6 - Friday, April 17.
- Havlife Tri-States Grants. HAVlifeTM grants to other 501(c)3 organizations to support youth in the community in activities related to arts, music and athletics. Due last Monday in April (Recognition at Brew-Off)
