If you are laid off and need a new job, look into the WIA Dislocated Worker Program. We are able to help many workers who have been laid off prepare for new jobs by providing a wide variety of services including career counseling and assessment, job placement assistance, job search information, resume development, basic computer classes, tuition assistance for classroom training, and on-the-job training. In some cases we are also able to provide financial assistance to help cover transportation and child care costs while you are in training.
