Preservation, Recreation, Park or Trail Grants
ECIA also assists local communities by writing historical preservation, recreation, park, and trail grants. These grants are available through the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Iowa Department of Transportation. Some examples of recent grants that have been written by staff at ECIA and awarded to local communities are:
- City of Luxembourg – park shelter and park improvements
- City of Stanwood – Playground equipment
- City of Rickardsville – new park, play equipment, and trail
