RTA Drivers Needed

Immediate openings for part time evening shift and first shift transit operators in Dubuque County; approximately 14 hours/week, evening shift includes every weekend.  Responsible for the safe operation of passenger bus with elderly persons, persons with disabilities, children and the general public.  Class B CDL drivers’ license with a passenger endorsement required.  High School Diploma or GED; prefer prior work experience as a bus driver.  Required post‑offer physical examination and drug/alcohol testing.  Salary:  $11.38 – 15.03/hour, 401K, PTO.  Applications can be obtained at the RTA Offices, 7600 Commerce Park, Dubuque, IA, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. Employment & Training Youth Grant Specialist

ECIA is seeking a full-time Specialist to provide case management activities for the Youth Career Connect (YCC) Grant.  Must be familiar with general employment/training services and programs including the  Workforce Investment Act Youth Program.  Responsibilities will include case management for the YCC Grant program;  tracking and monitoring data related to the YCC Grant including  orientations, applications, assessments, enrollments, participations, exits, outcomes, follow-up, and post-program services. Monitor youth participant progress and provide services to assist participants in meeting their goals. Coordinate grant activities and school visits with partner agencies. Utilize social media and other resources to connect and communicate with high school students participating in the grant program.  Bachelor’s Degree in education, social work, psychology, business, or another related field of study required. Previous experience in case management, counseling, student services, and social media desired. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with youth (age 14-24) from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member to achieve objectives of the program.
